Commissioning  is a systematic process that facilitates and ensures the required communication, coordination, and testing between designers and contractors to produce mechanical systems that perform properly and as designed and are installed appropriately. This systematic process includes design review, installation verification, proper system startups, functional performance testing, operation and maintenance (O&M) training and complete documentation of the Mechanical systems.


Commissioning serves the owner's best interests by delivering a facility with systems that perform as specified, as intended and as paid for.
