Mechanical system design includes HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and plumbing and piping design.

 

 

HVAC designs assist in developing safe and healthy building conditions through the interrelated process of providing thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air quality.

TEA designs HVAC systems utilizing various components such as variable volume and constant volume air systems; hot water and steam heating; water source heat pump; DX cooling; and geothermal heating and cooling.  Our goal is to design these systems within reasonable parameters for installation, operation, maintenance, costs and impact to the environment complying with all mechanical and plumbing codes.

 

 

Plumbing and piping design is the development of detailed specifications of the piping layout to move fluids (gas and liquids) and the corresponding system that mechanically moves these fluids.  This includes planning the actual pathways and means to move domestic hot and cold water, solar hot water; medical and lab gases; natural and propane gas; fuel oil; sanitary waste, and compressed air.

 

The size of our projects range from single family homes to 50,000+ square foot office buildings to 100,000+ square foot educational facilities.
