Hampton Inn Design Project Under Way

Currently, Thomas Engineering is working on the plumbing systems design for the proposed new 101 guestrooms Hampton Inn to be located in South Burlington, VT.

Thomas Engineering Associates, PC is fulfilling mechanical design requirements for a 24,000 square feet academic building adjacent to Allen Hall at Middlebury College. The new building will provide office and classroom space that will be used by various departments for overflow and temporary needs. The  building’s air handling system will utilize Variable Air Volume (VAV) technology to lower operating costs and create more precise space temperature control.

TEA employed its expertise in HVAC and Plumbing design at Larkin Terrace Apartments — a new four story, commercial and residential building on Shelburne Road in South Burlington, VT. Completion is on target for Fall of 2018. The building includes a 17,000 SF parking garage with CO monitoring controls, 17,000 SF of commercial tenants’ space to be served by air to water heat pumps for HVAC, and 60 residential units provided with HVAC from high efficiency air to air heat pumps.

TEA completed HVAC and Plumbing design documents for the new commercial/residential building at Pine St & Flynn Ave in Burlington, VT. The building consists of first floor commercial space and 30 residential units located on three upper floors. The residential units will have an HVAC system consisting of high efficiency, air to air heat pumps capable of providing heat when outside air temperatures are below zero degrees Fahrenheit.
