The Tram Haus Lodge was the first in a series of new hotels and amusement areas to be constructed at Jay Peak. The hotel’s HVAC system is based on a water to water heat pump system with one or two separate vertical heat pumps in each unit. The building has a restaurant, bar, ski rental area, parking garage, and other hotel support areas. Supplemental heat is provided from two 1,500 MBH high efficient LP gas boilers. Outside air is furnished through three energy Recovery Units located in the attic. Domestic hot water is furnished from four centrally located indirect hot water heaters.
